The ZPI - Zero Positive Infinity – foil, our latest innovation, is an electric, self-regulating heating element based on the intelligent SIP compound. The ZPI designed, three-layered structure consists of one copper sheet and an insulation sheet separated by a SIP core. A specific pattern is created on the copper side with two nodes. This structure enables the current to pass between the nodes on the copper side through the SIP compound. Like for the ZPZ foil the SIP and ZPI features ensure optimized energy consumption by saving power for when and where you need it. The ZPI structure lets us utilize the SIP features in high voltage applications and is more flexible than the ZPZ.

High Voltage
The ZPI design makes High Voltage applications possible. The rated voltage is determined by the distance between the two electrode nodes. To match the two node pattern to a technical specification is very easy using standard production techniques. The inherent pointwise safety ensures that the electrical and thermal control is at maximum.
Geometrical flexibility
The ZPI design implies a very flexible product. The structure of interlacing nodes together with the flexibility of the SIP compound ensures that the ZPI foil can meet complex geometrical requirements. The inherent point wise safety ensures that the electrical and thermal control is at maximum.
The pattern of the ZPI can easily be optimized to fit complex geometrical shapes and forms and because only one side needs to be treated the production is simplified and done faster. |
