There is no longer any doubt that the climate change is caused by anthropogenic influence. The main cause is increased emissions of carbon dioxide. To decrease this unsustainable development, massive changes have to be made in many areas. There is no sole solution and therefore all contributions to a more sustainable society are of importance.
Conflux's contribution is to optimize the energy consumption with focus on existing heating technology. What we do is not a total solution but still an important part-solution.
For us at Conflux, the environment is a natural and important part of our everyday work, and we always strive to improve ourselves in that matter. To maximize the environmental benefits with our foil, we strive to minimize the environmental impact in the development and manufacturing of our intelligent heating products. We exclusively use wind- and water powered electricity in our production facility. By honouring this commitment we save 1350 kg CO2/year. Take notice of that the energy consumption at Conflux is very low. According to the statistics of the energy department in Sweden, Conflux only consumes three times the average household.
In our office we have adapted the latest non-toxic, waste minimizing solid ink printing technologies. The ink is bound to natural wax which gives very little waste. During the normal lifetime of a toner-based printer 204 kg waste is generated. A Xerox wax printer only generates 10.5 kg.
Due to the fact that the majority of the staff travel with public transportation, the amount of carbon dioxide associated with travels to work, has decreased from approx 1770 kg CO2 /month to approx 1150 kg CO/month. This is a decrease with approx 35%.
These measures go hand in hand with our clean-tech (clean technology) profile:
Replacing existing heating solutions with ZPZ foil in order to decrease the total energy consumption.
Improving the technical performance of heat sensitive processes by placing them in a temperature controlled environment.
